Restaurant in the city
DH and I will be staying at the Waldorff Saturday, Oct 18th for the night. We got comped for an issue they had last year when we stayed the night for my bday and picked this day bc it just worked out. Looking forward to a night away with DH without kids. Recommend a good restaurant. Something fun, maybe different. Just looking forward to some drinks with DH and of course good food. Doesn't have to be by Waldorff. Last time we ate over there the place was ok and it's dead around there on a Saturday night. Could take a taxi or subway.

Restaurant in the city
When we stayed at the Waldorff, we went to One if by Land, Two if by Sea. It was a really romantic restaurant and the food was delicious.

Re: Restaurant in the city
If you want a hot spot downtown try the following places
L'Artusi Carbone Lupa
They all need advance reservations about a month in advance.

Check out this recent thread... I made a few good suggestions on it. Linky
Also, went to an amazing place last night with work people. Really tiny, only room for 50 people so you have to make a reservation far in advance.. AMAZING food. AMAZING. dell'anima

Re: Restaurant in the city
Thinking maybe Fig and Olive. Two of the locations are closer. Which would you choose? I just am looking forward to drinking and getting dressed up for a fun night with DH. No worrying about being home early since we're staying at the hotel.
