restaurant rave in Islip
Saturday night Dh and I tried Opa Greek Restaurant in Islip on Islip Ave. Its fairly new - I think they opened under a year ago. OMG - soooooooooo good!!!!! We had the grilled octopus for an appetizer (it was one of the specials). Then for dinner I had the pork souvlaki. It was tender and so flavorful....came with a big greek salad and peas and rice. Dh had the lamb shank....he got 2 HUGE pieces of lamb...the meat fell right off the bone...it was delicious!! I cant wait to go back   Check it out if you like Greek food

Sounds good - how much was the bill? did you have any drinks? I think i'll pass on the appitizer though.

We didnt have any drinks....I think the bill was $48 total.
