Restaurant recommendations around Lindenhurst-Bay Shore?
Hi,
My husband and I want to go out to dinner tonight for an anniversary, and do not know many places to go. Looking preferably for a place between Lindenhurst and Bay Shore. Open to any kind of food. Thanks!

Goccia D'Oro in Lindenhurst has good Italian food & good service, but not much atmosphere.
We also like Village Lanterne on Wellwood in Lindy for German food.

Argyle Grill in Babylon Village - Awesome skirt steak and crab cakes
The Post Office Cafe in Babylon Village - a bit more casual but good food
Houlihan's in Farmingdale on 110 - Casual but good. The Disco fries are yummy!

We went to captain bills in July, tasted like wedding/catering food. We weren't impressed.

Just went to Captain Bill's for Rest. Week and it was delish. I love Aji 53 as well! Their rice is to die forrrr and it's a great "hip" atmosphere!
