Restaurant recommendations- Fun and good food?
Ok....so my DH is a super picky, plain, no flavor, boring meal type of eater...
However, my birthday is next week and it is the ONE DAY of the year where I get to pick wherever I want to go and he cannot say NO...
Sooo.... any recommendations, we would like to stay in Suffolk if possible!!
I am open for Steakhouses/American/Seafood Asian Spanish/Mexican Portugese
Pretty much anything but Indian food of Thai..
Thanks ladies!!

Luso in smithtown is fun and different. You get to dampe a bunch of different meats and the food is great!

Barrique in Babylon - a small plate menu, so you can sample several things. Also, I've heard great things about Monsoon in Babylon, but haven't eaten there yet.

What about a hibachi place where they do the little show while they cook?

Hmm to be honest I wasn't a big fan of monsoon, I thought it was overpriced for the food. Love aji53 for sushi. Kotobuki and fancy lee's also has good sushi. I love prime in Huntington. H2o is same owner as prime, good seafood
Eta: missed the fun part lol. Monsoon does turn into a club at night. What about melting pot? Love the cheese fondue!

DH and I went to The Village Lantern in Lindenhurst the other night. It's German food. It was so fun. They had a live german band that was so lively and interacted with the crowd. The food was great and pretty inexpensive. I would definitley recommend it. They had a ton of german beers to choose from and they also had regular parts to the menu so I'm sure there is something on there your DH would eat. I highly recommend the pretzel bread! If you go on a Friday or a Saturday it's reservations only because it gets so packed.
