Restaurant suggestions near the roosevelt field mall
But not IN the mall please.
I have been to Baci and Laguna grill - but I am looking for something different.
Any ideas?

I love Grand Lux but it's in the mall circle.

Grand Luxe is wonderful! West End Cafe on Glen Cove rd is in a dingy strip mall, but has great food and decor

Do you like Chinese? Orchid in Garden City is awesome. Also a good place in Mineola right over there called St. James (but the wait tends to be long).
I love Houstons but it will be a madhouse.

on old country road, in front of roosevelt mall facing toys r us, is the best (kinda expsensive) STEAK HOUSE.. I think its called Christophers, its by the Piano store.. sooo goood...

What about Grimaldi's pizza in Garden City? Fresh pie with fresh mozzerella cheese? Love their antipasto salad too. Low key, and a bit noisy, but casual good food.
Menu is limited though to pizza, calzones, salads...

I couldn't remember...St. James..that was the other one. I really like that place.
The food is really great there. Pubby atmosphere. But the staff could be a bit nicer. Just be warned, the wait could be as long as 1 hour.
