Restaurant.com Certificate

Has anyone use a certificate at any of the restaurants on their site?

I ask cause on some of the restaurants it says to present BEFORE ordering. I'm curious as to why this is? Is it because they give you smaller portions or the menu is different?

Anyone have any experience to share?

Thanks!

Re: Restaurant.com Certificate

I've used them

When we place the order I tell the waitor we have one, and its been fine. They don't alter your serving size, or give you a differnt ment, its just a promotion.
Its worked with us, we are trying restaurants we wouldn't normally go to, and then going back

Thank you so very much for your response. This helps. I also am going to restaurants that I would not normally go to.

Portion is the same, they just want to know before they give you your bill.

I just mention I have one and hand it to them after the bill comes

It's so worth it to get them Chat Icon

I think they call the number to make sure the certificate is valid. You can only use one in that restaurant per month, so I think they check that too. I love them. I bought a bunch when they were on sale for 90% off in November. I also bought a few gift packages too.

You can print them out immed. When they are good deals I usually just purchase them as gifts and they are good forever. Once you chose the restaurant they are only good for a year.
