Call them - they should get you a credit. Their customer service has been good for me in the past. They answer within 24 hours.

They did but that is not the point. I would have gone to the restaurant and not have known that they were not taking them anymore. I don't know if it is rest.com's fault or the restaurant themselves NOT calling them.

Re: Restaurant.com Gift Certificates
I didn't know that you had a first issue.
That's the exact question that I would ask them - what would have happened when you went to the rest. for dinner? Make a big deal out of it.

Re: Restaurant.com Gift Certificates
It's not Restaurant.com's fault, it's really the Restaurant informing them they are not accepting them.
The only fight you can give is getting your Money back and they usually do not give you a problem with it.
In this economy, I think it is stupid for any restaurant to turn it down though, they are lucky you are walking in the door!.

They don't give you your money back but do an even exchange. I only spent $2 for the g.c. so I am not upset about that but the fact that I have to call around to see if the restaurants are still involved so I don't get stuck going someplace and have to pay full price.
