Maya is terrific. Eno on 58th and 1st is great for sushi. Grata on 59th and 1st has good Mediterranean food. This is pretty much my hood! What kind of food are you thinking?

on 75th and 2nd is Baronda.....good italian food. Also, for Italian there is Academia di Vino (64th and 3rd), which is good as well.

fig and olive - 63r or 64th and lex.
I heard accademia di vino closed, but if not then they are VERY good
