Restaurants Near Newark Airport
Meeting my niece at Newark. (she has a 6 hour layover) Want to take her out for something to eat. Any good places around there.

Honestly.. Not really much. The only thing I can suggest is just leaving the airport & travel down Rt. 1 South where there are a bunch of chain restuarants such as Applebees, On The Border, Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesdays, Uno's - things like that.

If I had six hours, I would take the airtrain into Newark and then go down neck and eat at one of the Portugese Restaurants right outside Penn Station. FM me if you want more info, I work in Newark.

I agree with the above posters -Def going down neck and eating at the portugese restaurants or leaving the airport all together and going elsewhere out of Newark. There are really no other options.
