Resume advice
My situation is complicated lol. My firm dissolved 12/31 but another firm took about 100 of our attorneys and i was offered a position. So as of Jan 1st I worked for this new firm as well as the bank for my old firm in dissolution. I am currently on maternity leave as of March 22nd but want to update my resume since this is not the ideal situation. Do you think I have to add this new firm to my resume? This new place could give 2 S**** about me and is probably hoping I leave. They are already complaining about how much money we make compared to their other employees so it is just a matter of time. I need advice!!!

Re: Resume advice
You do not HAVE to but without the new firm it would look like you've not been working since 12/31 it might look 'good' that the new firm hired you too? how come you wouldn't want to add it? For references, you can put a contact person from the old firm instead of the new one. good luck!

Re: Resume advice
Thank you for your reply!! The date would actually be Feb 2009 since I worked for the bank and then went on maternity leave in March. That's why I am torn!! It's basically a step back for me and was very unhappy during the short time I was there.
