Retirement gift question....jewelry related
i work with a 62 year old women who is very plain and hardly wears any jewelry except for her e-ring and wedding band and earrings. our office took up a collection to get her a peice of jewelry for her retirement party. what do you get someone who is so plain? we were thinking earrings would be a safe bet, what do you think?

Pearl earrings maybe? Whats her birth stone? Maybe a simple necklace w/ th birthstone? How about a nice pin?

Maybe a nice, classic watch? Pearl earrings are nice too. Or gold knots.

I agree with pearls, can't go wrong with that kind of gift.

Whether she wears them or not, she probably has pearls. Why not get her vintage looking jewlery like Judith Jack or something like that. Some of their pieces are very simple.
