Retractable Pool Cover?
Does anyone have one of these on their pool? We just realized we can either have that OR we have to get alrams on our doors so I'd prefer to just keep the pool covered when we aren't using it. If you have one, can you reccomend who installed it and how much it cost. Thanks

Re: Retractable Pool Cover?
I'm sure any of the major local pool people can do this. I'm sure its lots of $$$$. My aunt has theses on both her pools (Yes, I mean both)
what about a safety fence?? This is also $$ but not as much as a retractable cover.

Re: Retractable Pool Cover?
(i'm doing some work for a pool guy and just had him on the phone)
The retractable pool cover is going to cost about 7,000 to 10,000$$$
plus the cost of re-doing your deck/pavers around the pool if you want it hiden. It can also go on top of exsisting pavers but the track is visible and unattactive.
plus it really is not recommend for a winter cover (lots of snow) so you still need to open it up and cover your pool with a safety - loop-loc like cover in the winter
adding: this price was for if your pool is a rectangle. If its a free-formed pool its more difficult or maybe not even possible

Yes this is completely accurate If you wanted an electric retractable cover its about 20k
We have a custom shape pool and its impossible
You really need to have a rectangle to have this
