Re: retrieval tomorrow
So i just go the call from the embryologist and they said that out of the 45 eggs- 29 fertilized! My doctor also called to say how happy she is, and to see if I am feeling any better... Finally, today I am. So now we cant wait until January-- I hoping that the holidays will make this month go fast!
ps- can any one tell me what is involved with a frozen transfer? and if the statistics are good for a FET?

Re: retrieval tomorrow
Are they taking your embryos to blast before they freeze them?
I believe that stats for FETs are pretty good, and FET's are so much easier on the body.
There a few different ways to do FETs, but it usually involves estrogen pills or patches, pio shots, and sometimes lupron in the beginning. The tx will be just like an IUI. You went through the worst part already! (well except for the dreaded 2ww)

Re: retrieval tomorrow
Thanks for all the good wishes! I am not sure how many days before they are freezing- I am going to have to call and ask-- GREAT question! I guess I was so excited that I didnt even ask.
