Retrieval tomorrow...
and Im scared out of my mind!!! Ive never had anesthsia before or an IV or even been in a hospital for myself. UGH!!!
Luckily I have to be there at 6am so I just have to get through the day of panicking today.

Jen - I feel the same way! I've also never been under, but I've been told that you fall asleep and next thing you know you're waking up in recovery. You'll do fine! I'm so excited for you!

Good Luck! YOu'll be fine. I was also nervous! The best part of the anesthesia is the few seconds before you go out! You will feel Great! And then you'll wake up and ask " How many did they retrieve?"
Can't wait to hear your report!

Jen you will be just fine. Remeber, keep your eye on the prize. My heart tells me that this process will work for you. All things are on your side now. Keep a picture of FRED tucked in somewhere.

The anticipation is the worst part. The anesthesia is a breeze and you just go to sleep and wake up when it's over, it's great!! Good luck, I'll be thinking about you

The anasthesia is pretty light and you wake up all silly and giggly. At my clinic they gave me nice cold yummy apple juice when I woke up.

Before this whole process I never had to have any anesthesia either, I thought about the worst and it was a piece of cake!!! You are in good hands!
Relax and think this will all be worth it at the end!
