Reusing my breast pump-- what do I need to replace?

Yeah, I'm a little slow on getting this together Chat Icon

I have the Medela Pump in Style from 3 years ago. Worked fine with DD. Packed it away when she was 8 months and haven't looked back Chat Icon

Guess I better get what I need to replace to reuse for this baby.

What the heck do I need? Chat Icon

You should probably replace all the "parts"- tubes, breast shields, valves, and membranes

I just replaced the tubing and reused everything else. I think some people also replace the valve/membranes too.

I bought a replacement kit which was everything BUT the pump itself. Everything from the tubes out were new. It cost about $30.

Medela sells a replacement part set that has the breast shields, membranes and valves all together. I can't remember if the tubing was in it too Chat Icon

I would replace everything. I've been using mine for 7.5 months and have replaced the parts already. They get kinda nasty after awhile, especially the valves and the tubes.
