review & pics from Great Wolf Lodge!
omg it was awesome!!! first a BIG thank you to EmmaNick for passing on a 20% off coupon b/c that place was expensive!
the weather was insane (i think a tornado touch down near us) but it didn't matter b/c we never had to leave the hotel.
the room was very nice and large. the beds were so-so. the microwave and mini fridge in the room was very helpful. the food was pricey and not the best but you can order delivery or go to a local restaurant. food by the pool was ok & starbucks rocked! the service all around was great, people were super friendly & helpful. it took about 2 hours to get there from queens & 3 hours back b/c of city traffic.
the water park was so much fun. josh was scared at first b/c we entered just as the HUGE bucket dropped water in front of us but within 10 minutes he was all over the place. he is sensitive to water in his eyes but did AMAZING in the water, we were SO proud!
he also loved the arcade and made up his own rules for ski-ball. 
we can't wait to go back!

when he met the wolf he was scared b/c we had a discussion earlier about the difference between a dog vs. wolf and i said "wolves were mean". so when i put him on the wolf's lap he said to me "wolves are not nice mommy!"  Image Attachment(s):

i got it 2 years ago for my older ds. i think it was either buy buy baby or one step ahead. it fit my older ds when he was 8 months and my younger at 4 months!
i did bring a vest and it weas for nothing b/c they had a TON of vests in all sizes and my ds thought it was very comfy. they also have towels for the pool.

thanks everyone, we really thought it was a great hotel and so stress free b/c everything was onsite so no traveling and packing required.

That is good to know that they have the vests and towels.
