Rewards Credit Card
I had a Charles Schwab card that got 2% cash back, but it was sold to FIA and now the promotion is ending so I'd like recs for a new CC with cash rewards.

We have Chase Freedom. We get 1% back and every quarter they run a promo where certain purchases are 5% cash back.

We use the Amex blue cash and put everything on it. Once you past $5000 in spending it's 5% for gas/groceries/pharmacy and 1% everything else. Before 5k its' 1.5%/0.5%
I keep a TRU master card as backup for the few places that don't take amex.

5k on the year. You get reimbursed with a credit every Jan. Very simple.

I just got $170 cash back on my Chase Freedom card and two months ago I got $140 back. If you have a Chase checking or savings acct they can deposit it directly there, it's great. I charge everything on the card and never carry a balance. No annual fee either.
