OMG that is crazy!!!!! This isnt a minor issue either!!!! I have had 5 children and ALL of them are Rh+ and I have had the shot during each pregnancy...as this is definitely my last time around I asked my doctor if the Rhogam was necessary..He said it was.
Your insurance should pay and your doctor should have it there for you!!!
How many ladies on here have doctors that require you to order your own Rhogam?????
I mean I realize that we are the minority here (Rh-) but still....
Sorry but this put me in a huff for you!!!!! I hope you get somewhere with the insurance co as well as the Dr.

I had to order my own rhogam.
Give Medco HELL. I called them everyday for 2 weeks til I got my shot delivered to my home. I alternated between practically screaming at them on the phone and bursting into tears.
