Rice balls........
Would like to try to make them, anyone have a good recipe ???

instead of rice balls we make rice pie in my family....take a layer of cooked white rice....smash up meatballs, hot and sweet sausage with some extra sauce (all already cooked) and layer on the rice....then throw on some peas (i usually use the frozen type) then a layer of rice, meat mixture peas etc then the top layer i sprinkle plain bread crumbs, salt, pepper, grated locatelli cheese and bake until golden brown on top....so much easier than rice balls, same taste without all the work. I usually have some extra sauce on the side for anyone who doesn't like it on the dry side. I tend to make this when i make a double batch size sauce.

sorry i forgot to mention that you need to mix the layers of rice with a little butter to help it stick together...on the top just put a few scatterred mini size cubes to help get iit nice and crispy
