Rice Krispie Treats Favor - question
I wanted to make star shaped rice krispie treats on sticks and drizzled with chocolate and decorated with ribbon streamers for DD's 1st birthday favors. The theme is Abby Cadabby from SS so I was going for the wand idea. I am planning on putting them in the center of the table as centerpieces. The issue I am having is how long can I store them and how? We are doing so much on our own for it and I feel like they will be so time consuming to have to do a day before in addition to the rest of the cooking.

I think you can do at least 2/3 days in advance and keep in fridge.
I would do it that way, get some done each day.
They def last long and are YUMMY!

Don't ever put Krispie treats in the fridge. They will turn into bricks. Also, they start getting stale within a day or so I would make them the night before if you want them fresh and tasty.

I agree - they only work really at room temp. I would do it as close as you can to the big day! Love the idea! So cute!! Abby's wand! =)

really?
I did it overnite, esp since it was a wk ago in that 90 degree weather. took them out, and that nite they were fine.
Never even tasted near hard.
