Rice vs. Oatmeal Cereal - starting solids
Is it oaky just to skip rice & start with oatmeal single grain? I have heard from too many people that their babies got constipated from rice cereal. My doctor said to start with either rice or oatmeal as the first food...just wanted to get other people's opinions. Thanks!
What brand do you prefer?

I started DS with oatmeal and he loves it...switched to Rice and DS screamed when taking it. I love using beechnut for him. It disolves into the milk and not that thick.

My ped told me to go right to oatmeal... to many constipation issues with rice.

We did rice like 1x, then switched to oatmeal to avoid any constipation
