Re: Rings question?
I had to remove all my jewelry before DS (and my aunt had to have one of her rings cut off at the hospital because she coulnt remove it ) Maybe a little dish soap would get it off- I actually ended up getting a temp wedding band to wear in a bigger size because I had the same problem w/ my rings ! Good Luck !

Re: Rings question?
Most likely you'll have to take them off. Good luck!

Re: Rings question?
Ohhhhh man...I'm pretty superstitious, and I really would rather not go into L&D without my rings...

Re: Rings question?
I didn't have to take my jewelry off. Of course by then I didn't have my rings on but I had my watch and earrings in while I labored.

Re: Rings question?
Not sure but if a woman ends up with a c-section, it is a surgery. I have never had a surgery where I haven't been forced to take off all METAL jewelry. Which was why I replaced piercings with acrylic substitutes. But you never know.

Re: Rings question?
if they are not coming off now, I would def try to get them off somehow. I thought you only had to remove all jewelry if you were having a c section.
I took mine off about a month ago bc of the swelling -

Re: Rings question?
I would definitely try to get them off just in case. I didn't have any rings on when I had my DS because by that time I could not get them on. Believe it or not hair conditioner always helps me get my rings off.

Re: Rings question?
I had mine off and the hospital wanted jewelry off. If have/end up with a section I am sure they will cut them off. I would try to get them off now to be on the safe side. I hear windex does a good job of getting them off.

Re: Rings question?
take them off!!!
if they pump you with IV fluids, your whole body will swell up. I didn't even look like myself after delivery because my face (and the rest of me) was so unbelievably swollen. And you don't want to chance anything happening to jewelry at the hospital---I would leave EVERYTHING home including your watch
