riverhead aquarium party

Has anyone had their childs birthday party at the aquarium in riverhead? I'm thinking about it for DD's first birthday in February and just wondering if anyone has any feedback. It seems like it's the only place that adults can enjoy just as much as the children, kwim?

I didn't but my cousin had his son's first brithday there. It was really nice - the food was good and it was cool to just be able to wander around and look at everything at your leisure.

They also had someone there come in with a snake and talk to the kids (well, everyone I guess) about it and they got to touch/hold it.

ETA - this party was also in February (or very early March, I can't remember) so it was nice that the place wasn't completely packed - but we also didn't go out to see the sea lion show b/c it was too cold out there.or a lot of the exhibits that were outside b/c it was just too cold. A lot of people did though - but DS was only 6 months and I didn't think it would be great for him.
