Road Trip Question

Hello all! This is my first post on this board and I am hoping to get a little advice from you ladies.

DH and I are thinking of taking a road trip sometime this summer. However, we are not sure where we want to go. I was thinking of Niagara Falls. DH isn't sold on the idea.

Does anyone have any recommendation? Also, if any of you have been to Niagara Falls if you could share your experience/recommendations. Is there much to do in Niagara Falls other than going to the falls?

I would say I would want wherever we go to be no more than what if drivable in one day, no more than 12 hours or so.

I am from Buffalo originally which is just on the other side of the border. I am very familiar with Niagara Falls and can answer any questions you might have. I would def suggest going if you have never been. There is a lot to do, great restaurants, casinos and touristy things. I would say you have to do the maid of the mist, very cool! Check out Clifton Hill. They also have the Skylon Tower which is a rotating restaurant with a 360 view of the falls. The food isnt that great and its kind of pricey but still worth it just for the view.
