Robeez or other Robeez type shoes...
I just started putting Robeez on DD even though I know its better to go barefoot. She refuses to keep her socks on and her feet are freezing. So I put the Robeez on over her socks to help keep her feet warm, and slipping all over the place in her socks!!!
Anyway - I have such a hard time getting them on. I tried both her current size and a size up. Do you think she has wide feet or something? I just can't get them on!! or is this typical because they are new and need to stretch or something.
Thanks!

The first time you put them on, it's a little difficult, but it does get easier. I think they stretch out. Or maybe you just get used to putting them on.
You have to stretch the ankle part all the way, then slide her foot right in.

Sorry I can't help, but shoot, are we not supposed to be putting socks and/or shoes on babies? Why is that? I learn so much new stuff on here.
My DS is 4 months, and I put socks on him - the ones that stay on the best are the ones that look like little sneakers, and come up a little higher in his leg than regular socks. Maybe use those? Unless they are bad - then someone tell me so I stop using them!

Re: Robeez or other Robeez type shoes...
Socks are totally fine. The problem is my DD pulls them off the second I put them on. So as an attempt to keep her feet warm, I put the robeez on over them. She doesn't bother the shoes as much as the socks.
Babies should not wear shoes until they are really good walkers. SOmething to do with foot development.
eta: also now that's she pulling up and crusing she slips in the socks. So it's dangerous. She doesn't slip as much barefoot, but her tooties freeze!!

so true!! It gets easier after a few wears. I cant put them on w/out socks though. He gets the elastic marks on his fat little cankles!
You should try a pair of pedipeds. I like them so much better then the robeez

I agree- try the pedipeds. I love them and DD will actually keep them on - she hates shoes and socks. You can get them at Nordstroms or go to www.pedipeds.com.

I loved the Robeez boots for this reason, the kid couldn't get them off and they were SOOOOOOOO cute!

I love Robeez and my son was always a chub with wide wide feet and no issues. maybe it is just until they break in why - you are having issues. Robeez are fine for walking - they are soft soled.
