ROLL CALL: what did you do this weekend?

i'm bored and curious

to answer my own question, i:

* cleaned my kitchen
* washed my car (outside only)
* ds cleaned the bathroom
* swept and mopped
* completed a telephone interview for a colege student's study on parenting
* had home depot come out to give me an estimate on new windows

what an exciting weekend

We:

1. Ran errands all around - picking up my DH's new glasses (and saw Janet); went grocery shopping, went to Target, Best Buy, HD, Walmart, BJs, Buttercup Dairy

2. My BIL used our basement to film an unsigned tv series he's entering into a film festival.

3. Sunday - cleaned the house and did laundry and boy did we clean - vacuumed the entire house, dusted, cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned and rinsed all the floors! The house is sparkling clean!

Passed out and went to bed!

2. Went seal watching in West Hampton Beach and had a friggen blast with daughter.

Friday: Cleaned the entire house when I got home from work, then had dinner with DH.

Saturday: Went to buy a baby shower gift for my boss with my friend and her bf and my DH.

Then we went to the mall for a couple hours, had sushi for dinner and then they came back to our house for coffee and a movie.

Sunday: I made two big meals for the day/next few days and relaxed and finally put a dent into the organization of our wedding photos!

It amazes me how many people clean on the weekends!

I rarely clean on the weekends (actually I rarely clean ) It's just that when I'm cleaning I get this overwhelming feeling that I'm wasting my day... yet sitting on the couch watching Lifetime movies is perfectly fine and NOT a waste of a day..

Friday we saw a movie then came home and watched a rented movie

Saturday- errands and running around

Sunday- didn't leave the house- just relaxed on the couch all day long!

Friday: went to AC with DH

Saturday: Came home, cleaned the house, went to dinner at my parents (DH went to see a Light Show with his friends)

Sunday: Mass, Lunch with DH, watched a movie, did 2 loads of laundry.

Tended to a screaming child because we were not playing with him.
Went to Lowes to buy a chain saw so DH could take down some bushes.
Removed 3 big hemlocks

Friday: cleaned the kitchen and swiffered the wood floors in the rest of the house, went out to dinner with a couple friends, then to a bar for another friends birthday

Saturday: pretty much nothing all day, at night went to a St. Patricks day dinner for our neighborhood ( we live in a "lake community", so they had it as a fundraiser for the "club" that maintains the lake/clubouse.. REALLY good food, and nice to meet more of the neighbors)

Sunday: out to the diner for lunch, grocery shopping, got some ice cream, did lesson plans for the week, some laundry and a little bit of work outside getting our garden ready.

Friday: DH's friend just got married and he is the cutest thing - he absolutely loves cooking so he has been cooking for us so much! We had a full meal, some beers and played Wii all night. He even made me a special meal because I don't eat meat on Fridays!

Saturday: cleaned the whole apartment, did all the laundry, went to church. THEN, back to the same friends' house for dinner! We joked about wanting his famous "baked potato shmashed potatos" so he made them for us and another full dinner, a few bottles of wine and another night of Wii.

Sunday: My brother came over with the babies and we ate dinner at my mom's. My godson is almost one and just started walking so he is our entertainment!!

I've been mourning all weekend.

My husbands cousin was the steelworker who died this past Wednesday.

Horrible, Horrible weekend.

Friday - nothing much - DH had band practice - I caught up on my West Wing on TIVO and played on facebook

Saturday - worked out with DH, cleaned & organized the basement - then went out to dinner and a movie with DH, his Brother and his wife

Sunday - worked out with DH, laundry, cleaned inside of my car, food shopping and watched Twlight after dinner.

DH and I went to Atlantic City with a bunch of his work friends and their wives.. We went to The Celebration of the Suds, which was a beer festival in the convention center.. it was a lot of fun!!

Sunday I went food shopping and went to the mall with DH and then crashed..

Sat- Grandma/Grandpa kicked DH and me out for couple time so we went shopping and out to lunch
Took a nap afterward

Sun- Grandma/ Grandpa/BIL/SIL visited to see DD

Sat: Returned home from FL and Sat. night went to a friends house for a bit, it was her Bday (early celebration).

Sunday: Went to mass, Breakfast, Cleaned, Unpacked, Laundry, and went to my dads where my sister cooked up a traditional St. Patricks Day meal because my Dad, DH, DS, and I were all in FL for the holiday.

Friday - went to vist my cousin and had a playdate with my neices. 5 little girls from 2 months to 4 yrs.

Sat. - Too my SS to see "Race to Witch Mountain". The Rock is so hottt . Played video games

Sun. - Procrastinate with my hwk, Watched a movie and bummed around.

Friday---dinner w/friends at Tellers for a birthday. Her DH treated everyone Its was our (DH&I) 1st time there. DELICIOUS!

Saturday---ran errands w/DH and did some shopping. Than off to a surprise 40th birthday.

Sunday---visted some friends and she made us a nice dinner.

No cooking for me all weekend!

Sunday- Bridal Shower in Westchester

Busy weekend:

Friday - Went to the hospital to visit Mom
Picked up SIL from JFK

Saturday - Worked until 4
Went to Carolines in the city and saw DL Hughley, then went for drinks at the Marriott Lounge

Sunday - Church, Cemetery for Rogan's 1st Birthday, then took SIL to lunch for her birthday, then drove SIL back to airport

In between all of that I managed to clean the house....
