Ronan and Declan are 1 Today! Pics and letter
I cannot believe my baby boys are turning 1 today. Here is my letter to them.
2 years ago I was at a point where I didn't know if Daddy and I would ever have children. We had gone through so much hope and then, disappointment. When we got pregnant with you both, it was so exciting and we anxiously awaited every sonogram. Every moment when they would say-there's Baby A's heartbeat. There's Baby B's heartbeat. Everything looks great. And we'd have a huge sigh of relief.
As I got further along, I started to feel you both move. Ronan you were more of a kicker and Declan was more of a roller. Every time I would feel you move it was an undescribable feeling. I knew you were there, warm and cozy just getting ready to come and meet us.
The day you were born I had gone for a routine Doctors visit. The Dr thought I should deliver that day and asked me to go over to the hospital. So I called Daddy and he met me there. We were nervous but excited!
When you were born-Ronan you came out first. You looked so tiny and you were mad. Declan you were also mad and looked bigger than your brother although you were only 5 ounces larger. At that moment I finally knew you were here with us and you were safe. That I would NEVER let anything happen to my little babies who were so wanted and loved way before they were born.
Declan watching you grow has been so amazing. You are a happy little boy who can be plain crazy! You can get excited just crawling around chasing a ball. You have joy for life that I know will only grow as you get older. I cannot wait to see the boy and then, man you will become. You are also a sweet cuddly boy. You love sitting in my lap and looking at me upside down. I love you so much my smiley sweet boy. I will always be here for you.
Ronan-you have an air of quiet, calm confidence. You also love to laugh and smile but not at just anything. You are discriminating. You usually play with two of the same things-blocks, balls, anything that matches. You bang them together, shake them and crawl around holding those two things. You love to be rocked to sleep and I sing the special song I made just for you. You put your head on my shoulder and scratch my arm while we rock. You can spot me across a room and will jump out of anyones' arms to get to me. I know our bond will only grow deeper with time. Know that I am a constant in you life and will be there through everything.
My sweet precious boys-you are my dream come true, my life and my loves. I have never known love like this. Know that I am your guardian and your best ally. I will always be your Mommy and will always take care of you. Thank you for the gift you have given me.

You made me cry!!!!
They are absolutely beautiful and you deserve them and every joy that they bring to you. I remember your story from the very beginning and how happy I was for you when you were finally pregnant and even more soo that they were twins.
Kind of funny that this site makes us feel like we "know" people that we have never even met.

 a little memory for you-I remember how worried you were before your surgery and how happy you were after-remember you talked to my friend who worked for Dr R?
