Roof, gutters and siding??
Who would you recommend and why??
Who wouldnt your recommend and why??

These are the prices we have gotten so far and we did hire a company who will start the end of October. The more expensive companies did a lot more than the cheaper ones in terms of prep, capping, warranty, etc

We used Westbury Siding for both our roof and siding, and gutters. They did a great job, were very quick, and did a great job on clean up. Would highly recommend them.

We did our roof this past Jan...
We looked at:
King Quality 15k
A-1 Roofing- 8400
Venus-7700
Outer County-7400
We also contacted Riley the roofer, but he was backed up and couldn't even get to me until after January...
We ended up going with Outer County; we negotiated with them to meet some of the other quotes (using 30lb paper instead of 15lb; including 4 pieces of plywood instead of 1); we also had the faux chimney over the oil burner replaced (was about an extra $800)
We paid cash so they knocked down the price by 5%; and didn't charge us tax...so it came to $7500...
They did a great job; started at like 7am; were done by 12pm- came with A LOT of guys, did all the clean up; and we have had a few heavy rain storms since and everything's been great!
They are GAF certified (which is the maker of the shingles) and had an A+ rating with BBB (they are also BBB certified)..
They were recommended by a friend, and I'm glad we went with them (was skeptical; because they were the cheapest and I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for!)
