Room Assignment...
My daughter still has not received her teacher or supply list for kindergarten. I am so annoyed it is taking this long. Each teacher online has a different supply list so I can't start without the teacher assignment...anyone else not receive info yet??

Ours hasn't come yet either. I do have the supply list for DS (entering K) since they have all the lists on one sheet and we got it on the last day of school for DD. Last summer I was frustrated that I had one week to run around and try to get all the supplies, and some were hard to find, forget about shopping around for a deal.

I just called the school today, they're not sending it out until Friday. There are no lists online at all. I expected they would be out much sooner.

Nothing here, either. We were told by several people that they don't send them out early, since they don't want the parents to have too much time to try and rearrange who their teacher is.

I got a notice stating what class room my daughter is in - but not teacher and no supply list. They also sent out a letter with the incorrect date of the first day of school.

Have not gotten anything yet either. The supply lists have been posted since June and they are all different. I have called the school and no one answers GRRRRRR.

We haven't gotten anything either as far as teacher assignments. The supply list was posted online in July so I got it off of there.
My friend is a middle school teacher and said that the delay could be due to assessment scores just coming in so kids' schedules and teacher assignments have to be redone based on those scores.
Not sure if that is true or not. I just know that I want the school info already.

We haven't gotten any assignments and I'm not even sure when school starts. The website says nothing. I ordered supplies through PTA so I already picked them up.

Still have not gotten ours and was told by a former classmate that they were told they would go out today, which is not happening since the school was closed. I don't get why in the world they need to let people know so late. The secretary at the school told another mom to just compile all 4 lists, buy everything and then return the stuff she didn't need? Yeah like we all have time for that.  How about sending the stuff out so parents can get the stuff on the list at a good price and not have the stores be out of everything. Target said they are not getting anything else in for school supplies and this was last week.
