Roseola questions....
Sidney had a high fever for about 3 days and just when it started to go down she got a rash on her chest, stomach, and back (plus a little on feet and diaper area and face) Dr. said it was Roseola.
Well the rash is starting to go away (on day 3 of rash) BUT she still has had a fever of about 101-103. I thought that during the rash there was no fever. Plus Dr. said it wasn't supposed to be itchy but Sidney keeps scratching and crying and saying "ishy" (itchy). Plus she has really bad breath. And she has NO appetite. She's been up since 6am and still hasn't eaten anyting but BF.
Does this sound like the normal course for Roseola?

Re: Roseola questions....
Sara has Roseola now and we are miserable. Her fever started on Tuesday and we had fever Tuesday, - Today. ( highest being 103.7) Yesterday the rash appeared and her fever broke. Today we woke up with 101.8 so I once again brought her back to the doc . She now has a cold and a double ear infection. She is also VERY CRANKY and will not let us put her down. As far as an appetite well she is eating but not much, especially her bottle. I hope this helps. s we speak she has no fever so I hope this means she will be better soon.
I hope this description helps since we are going through it.
I didnt see this at first but yes Sara has really bad breath from this
