Roses question
One of my best friends is trying to get preg.....I'm thinking ahead to when she is and what I want to do for them. Would it be cheesy to send a dozen roses, half baby pink/half baby blue and can I even get blue roses?

Re: Roses question
I know you can get blue carnations.
I personally wouldn't do it until she is preggos. Before might be a little uncomfortable.

I wasn't saying now, silly!!!
When she is, though....when she announces it

Closest you'll get is a lavendar. Blue pigment doesn't exist naturally in roses. Either way I think it's a great idea...you can throw in a Baby Bargains book too.

Re: Roses question
What about blue hydrangea? I have that in my backyard and it's so pretty.

Re: Roses question
I would send something else, like maybe something sentimental, ie redenvelope. Flowers always die so fast.

Yeah, but it's not like, the only gift to her...just something special for the beginning. I'm sure I'll go crazy buying things eventually!

I would do this...because artificially colored roses aren't that nice to me.

Re: Roses question
when I found out I was preggo I got preggo books as gifts and a countdown clock, I liked that alot cause it was really useful and used throughout my pregnancy and probably the next one too! Flowers are beautiful but they do die... you sound like a nice friend though
