RSVP's for birthday party
We've always had a small get together of family and a few friends for DS's birthday in the past. His birthday falls on New Years.
We just moved in July to a new school district. This year we decided to have it at a place and we sent out invites to his entire class.
We decided not to have the party on New Years to make it easier for folks and are having it the weekend after next instead. We put an RSVP date of the 23rd. We sent out 25 invites and so far have only gotten 3 back: 2 yeses and 1 no. Our minimum is 12.
Should we be worried at this point? I'm not familiar with how quickly we should be getting back RSVPs.

I wouldn't be because there is still 6 days before the RSVP date

I agree too. We just had DS's party and the majority of the rsvps were right before the actual rsvp date.

Re: RSVP's for birthday party
On The RSVP date for DDs bday only 3 people from her class had responded. I called all the others to ask if they were coming or not and everyone said yes and came. I think this time of year is so hectic that people forget.
