Rumors are flying!!
That my school is going to be shut down at the end of this year. We are one of the few large HS left in NYC and we got an F on the report card. This is terrbile. Administration was told they will know for sure in two weeks. Guess it is time to start looking for a job on Long Island again. I hate interviewing

I have been through restructures twice. The first time, the school had been SURR forever, and I'd already found another job. My second school was restructured on someone's whim- we were not a failing school. It actually worked out well for those of us who remained in the original school.
Good luck- it's horribly stressful but it might be a blessing in disguise for you.
