Runners/Walkers... ? for you...
What type of pedometer, tracker, mile marker etc (whatever they are called! lol) do you use?
I'm looking for something simple, not too much $$ but something that will let me know how many miles I've walked....
THANKS!

Re: Runners/Walkers... ? for you...
I have a garmin watch- it tracks my distance, calories, average pace, etc.
I have one of the older models (205) and I love it!! You can usually find it for arond $80-90. I got mine on Walmart, but I know other websites like amazon have it.

Re: Runners/Walkers... ? for you...
I have the Nike plus that I use with my ipod nano.
Nike just came out with a GPS watch similar to the Garmin watches. It is powered by Tom Tom. I really want to get this but I will have to save up for it since it is $200. I may ask for it for Mothers Day though.

Before I started running, I used a simple clip on Pedometer that I got at either Sports Authority or Modell's (can't remember which one). For running, I use my Nike +. The pedometer I got was less than $20 and was great for walking and jogging.

I used to use a nike+ but when my sensor died and I got a new sensor, I've been having so many problems with it. I now strictly use my garmin gps watch.

I use my garmin exclusively now too. But I really did like the Nike+ (mine stopped working accurately when I put new inserts in (same brand as always?))

I loved my Nike+ for 2 years. Seriously LOVED it, not only for the mileage tracking and pace, but I love the way it changes the ipod for working out. Plus I love the challenges. If you already have an ipod nano it would only be a $30 investment versus $100+ for the gps watch. Just something to keep in mind. I didn't have problems until recently when I had to replace my sensor. This is the gps watch I have, its the lower model without heart rate monitor. garmin forerunner 205

Re: Runners/Walkers... ? for you...
I have a new sensor for my Nike+ and love it now - if you can afford a Garmin though, go for it - my bday is in November, but it's already on my list (if I can replace my Ipad by then)
