Running Sneakers?!? UPDATE AT BOTTOM!
I have been running a lot more the past few weeks and the sneakers I wear now just aren't doing it. My trainer suggested Brooks running shoes, Mizuno running shoes, or Aisics. What do all you maraton women wear to train? ( not that I am planning on running a maraton ) Just some facts on me. I have pretty flat feet and run mostly on a treadmill . Thank you

I tried the Brooks gel but you have to really see for yourself. Everyone is different. Not sure where you live but runner's edge in farmingdale is great and Jack Rabbit in NYC is reallly good as well.

Re: Running Sneakers?!?
You should go to the Runner's Edge in Farmingdale. They have you walk around in socks and they look at your feet. They recommend a bunch of sneakers and then help you narrow it down. You try them on and run in the store to see how they feel. I ended up with Asics and really love them.

Re: Running Sneakers?!? UPDATE AT BOTTOM!
glad you found a pair that works. I wear Nikes, but I don't know why, but at races I always like to look at other people's shoes. There are so many that it would be impossible to pick a brand that is most popular...although I do notice I don't see many Nikes.
After about 100 miles if they are still doing great, keep a look out for your style at outlets and online. I stock up whenever I can.
