Running while pregnant?
I'm TTC #2 and wondering if anyone has continued running while pregnant. I've only been running for about 4 months (I started with the C25K) and I can run for about 25 minutes without stopping, I"m working myself up to a 5K. Do you think it would be safe for me to continue if I got pregnant in the new few months?

Re: Running while pregnant?
As long as you started before pregnancy you will be fine. However, you will notice right away that you will slow down as it's harder to breathe. I was shocked about how fast that happens.

Re: Running while pregnant?
I agree, my doctor said that would ever you did before you can still do pregnant. If you are running 5ks before pregnancy you can continue doing that. I wouldn't do any longer distance then you are used to.
I am 25 weeks pregnant and am walking/running 4-6 miles 5 days a week. I am doing a 10K next week... I used to be able to finish it around 55 minutes, now it takes me an hour and 25 minutes.
My doctors said to just make sure I am hydrated and that I can always have a conversation- he calls it the talk test. He doesn't want me gasping for air ever.
After this 10k I think I going to stick to just walking... it is def getting harder to run.
Ohhh and in my opinion- I think the baby likes the exercise. It helps rock him/her to sleep. haha. :)
