I definitely did in the beginning. But at about 12 weeks I got all my energy back and so far it's still with me.

Re: Pregnant and running after two 2 year olds...anyone else?

I still get sick some mornings. 23 wks with not even 16 month old - it's great fun trying to get him ready for daycare in the morning while I fight back the urge to vomit Chat Icon

When I'm home with him - I'm tired. But, I try to just go for walks or just set myself up comfortably in the yard and let him run around.

In the beginning it was tough at night. I would put DS to bed at 8pm and then myself. My energy came back in the 2nd trimester. I am now 31 weeks and DS and I spent all day at the pool yesterday. We both needed a nap by the time we came home. Chat Icon

I had NO energy in the beginning! I couldn't even do ring around the rosey with the kids. I felt like I was spent everyday- from the moment I woke up. At 12 weeks it ended.

I'm getting tired again at 29 weeks but I'm hanging in there b/c I still have a ways to go.

It stinks in the beginning but it will pass.

I only have one two yr old so I feel for you. In the beginning it was SOOOOOOOOOO hard. It is now too but more so b/c I cannot breath etc then tired.

Just try to rest as much as you can and try to find as many quiet activities or less hectic ones as possible if that makes sense.

This was me in the beginning, my DS was pretty much a vegetarian bc I couldn't stand the thought or smell of meat. Now at 14 weeks my energy is better, but I am done by 6pm (of course I can't go to bed then, but I would love to!)

1st trimester was rough b/c I had bad MS. 2nd trimester got some of my energy back but now in the 3rd it is rough again b/c I am so big and getting to that uncomfortable point that it is hard to keep up.

Re: Pregnant and running after two 2 year olds...anyone else?

I totally understand. I was completely exhausted in the 1st tri and I have a 2 year old AND a 3 year old to chase around! DH got laid off and thankfully spends TONS of time with the kids. 2nd tri is a little better, but I am starting to get exhausted again by the end of the day. It is really rough...I felt really guilty at first that I wasn't able to spend the time I would like with them but I know it is only temporary. Chat Icon

Thanks for all the responses. To the previous posters about the meat...OMG! I usually like meat lately I have Zero interest in it. I am totally carb. crazy even though I can only tolerate small amounts at a time of that too.

Thanks everybody again for making me feel like I am NOT crazy!

oh God yes. it wasn't bad until the 3rd trimester for me though. i did not anticipate that it would be this hard to be large/pregnant and chasing her. today she was running toward the street-i could NOT get her- i had to resort to grabbing a bit of her hair and knocking her down! Chat Icon Chat Icon it was the ONLY way. being PG with a toddler (for me) ranks up there with some of the most difficult things i have done!

I have a 2.5 year old. DH has taken over some of the running after him because even at 23 weeks, I am exhausted!
