ruptured cyst question
Hello!
I am 6w5d and went for an ultrasound yesterday because of some severe cramping I had a few days ago. The ultrasound tech said she believes I had a ruptured cyst because she saw some free fluid in the area and it made sense given my symptoms. She made it seem like it was completely normal and nothing to worry about, but I have read some different things online and I don't see the dr. until Monday. Has anyone ever had this and is it okay for the fluid to just hang out there? I also read something about women going on progesterone if it was the corpus luteum cyst that broke early on. any experience would be greatly appreciated!

Re: ruptured cyst question
At my 6 week sono with this pregnancy the sono tech mentioned that I had also ruptured a cyst recently. She made it seem like it was no big deal so I didn't worry about it. My ob never even mentioned it or the fluid. I'm 33.5 weeks now

Thank you! That makes me feel much better. This is my 3rd pregnancy, but I never experienced this before.
