Rye bread at italian bakery?
Some stupid questions 
Can I get rye bread at an italian bakery?
At the bakery and I ask them to slice the bread can they adjust the width of the slices? If I pickup italian bread I want the slices say an inch thick, but if I buy sandwich bread I would want it thinner.

I've gotten rye bread at Dortoni's and get it sliced on the thin side.
