Sad...self pity vent
My poor DD has been sick on an off all weekend - took her to the ped who says she has a virus (bad sore throat and fever 103- not strep luckily).
So I have been patiently waiting until tomorrow for my 1st OB appt - I was so excited to go. I have no one to watch DD during the day (my dad can help me out at appts since he works nearby) but I couldn't bring my daughter all the way to the city feeling horrible. So now I have to wait another week and a half until Halloween to know if everything is okay. So I'm worried about DD and now disappointed about my 1st visit.
Vent over - sorry.

Re: Sad...self pity vent
Thank you - I'm just torn between wanting my DD to feel like her happy normal self - but still I want to know that DC#2 is okay (I still don't know really when I'm due b.c my cycles are so off).

I would be disappointed too. I'm sorry it worked out that way.

I had to take her to the peds today b.c she has been getting 102.7-103 fever every afternoon/night since Sat although she has been okay in the morning with no fever- she spikes a fever by around 2pm. Ped says she has a raw red throat and has a bad virus (Not strep luckily he tested her for it). So he said she is very contagious. I don't want to take her with a sore throat and a fever to an office with pregnant women and risk her giving something to anyone.
