SAHM needs a suit. HELP!

I'm a FT SAHM, and my wardrobe nowadays reflects that. However, I have been working PT for the company I used to work for when they need me. The office is casual, so I can get away with wearing almost anything if and when I do go into the office for anything.

BUT, next week I am going to need to wear a suit for a photo thingy they are doing at my company ... I don't own one (and if I do it certainly doesn't fit anymore) and don't want to pay Chat Icon for something I will wear once for this thingy.

Where should I look? I want a basic suit, pants ok, in a black, navy or gray... If your bored, can you post something that's in or would look nice?

TIA!

I don't have any pictures, but try Marshalls or TJ Maxx for a good price. I;ve also gotten nice suits at the Anne Taylor outlet.

I would check Annie Sez Loehmann's, or Filene's Basement, they always have a decent selection of reasonably priced suits.

Re: SAHM needs a suit. HELP!

I would try Century 21. I only work 2 days a week and only have the need for an occasional suit but I've always had luck at Century.

I like the Loft, but the jackets are short this year. Also if you're going to only wear it once, I would head to Loehmanns.

Most of my suits (I have to wear one every day) are from the Limited. -
They wear easily and are very comfortable - They can however, be $$$ - Peek in and see if they have a sale. -
Also, try Macy's for a sale, Ann Taylor ...Marshalls also has nice things sometimes - but it's hit and miss -

Re: SAHM needs a suit. HELP!

There is an awesome suit at Target of all places (it was featured in a Real Simple magazine fashion spread) it's an Isaac Mizrahi. I am looking at it as we speak (unfot. in the mag) jacket is $40 and skirt is $25!

say cheese!

ETA: I didn't see that you had purchased something...that is nice too!
