salaries for legal secretaries
A friend of mine is planning to move to NY in the next few months. She has 5 years experience as a legal secretary (in commercial litigation) and would be looking to work for a medium to large-sized firm preferably. She's not sure if she wants to work in Manhattan or on LI and she's also not finding much salary info either.
Anyone have any idea what the salary ranges are for legal secretaries (either starting salaries or salaries for those with experience) on either LI or the city? Is there a huge difference in pay?
Is salary.com accurate for this info? It's not for my job, which is why I'm asking.
