Saline Sono question
I am scheduled for my saline sono this Tuesday and my RE wants an updated pap on me as well so I booked my pap appointment for the same day...Am I going to be uncomfortable after the sono ? Should I have booked my pap on another day?...I asked the nurse and she said it would be fine but I'd rather hear it from someone who has had one...Is it really that similar to an IUI ??? Thanks !!!!

no, you will NOT be uncomcortable after the sono...it wont hurt at all

For me, my saline sono was more painful than the HSG. IMO Pap smear is cake compared to the Saline Sono. So I would assume it is okay to do both. BTW, most women are usually fine with the saline sonos. I was one of the unluckily few.

You should tell your RE that you need a PAP...he can do it at his office and save you two copays and two Dr. visits.
Mine did it with no problem.

Mine did it with no problem.
Hmmmm....thats what I would have thought but the nurse there told me I have to go to my GYN....I'll ask the Dr. himself when I'm there ...Thanks !
