Sara Gilbert and partner welcome second child
Actress Sara Gilbert, 32, and her longtime partner Allison Adler welcomed their second child on Thursday, August 2nd. Daughter Sawyer joins big brother Levi Hank, 2 1/2. This had been the first pregnancy for Sara -- Allison carried their son.

It's nice that she and her partner each got to carry one child.
I had no idea she came out... but I did have a pretty good idea that she was a lesbian.
I agree that I think it is great that they each get to experience childbirth.

I thought she came out during Roseanne too.
Great that they both carried a child! I'm still not over a relative of mine losing "custody" of her children because her partner was the one that carried them. No legal rights at all.
Sawyer is such a cool name for a girl.

She looks so cute pregnant - and she doesnt look any different than the little girl on Roseanne...
I always thought she was gay, but didnt know she came out - thats great that she and her partner took turns! Thats really cool!!!
