Was anyone surprised that carrie picked Samantha as her Maid of Honor....I think i always thought she would pick miranda....

I wasn't surprised - even in the show, Samantha was like her "mother figure". she's actually the mother figure to them all. she's definitely the strongest one - always takes charge in bad situations. with the exception of the whole Richard cheating drama

I wasn't surprised that she picked Samantha but I was surprised that she picked one at all. I thought maybe she just wouldn't have a specific MOH.

At first, I was surprised.
But then, I thought back on past episodes and later in the movie saw exactly why she chose her. AWWW!
