Scared to fly
DH and I have to catch a plane in the am w/ my friend and her bf to go on our cruise and I am sick to my stomach about it. I HATE flying and just want to be there already. I keep having all of these awful thoughts My fear is bad enough w/out all this terrorist BS to think about. I wish i could just get over it!

I agree,
ohterwise , keep in mind that 2 million people a day fly and that it is safer now than it was a week ago. Security is so tight.

If this helps at all, I think right now is the best time to fly. Security is on high alert. I would rather fly now than when security is lax and everyone is feeling comfortable. Just breath out slowly....

i fly all the time and its not a big deal, even with the new stuff. i just got off a plane 6 or so hours ago. i will be getting on a plane again next weekend and again two weeks later.

Thanks for the advice/encouragement everyone! I'm feeling a little better. I'm all packed so I'm getting more excited now. I think I'll take some benadryl when I get there, that knocks me out Have a great week all!
