Scary last night, funny this morning (long but hysterical story)
Ok so DS went to sleep last night at 10:30pm and I stayed up until 1:30am reading the book I can't put down.
Around 3:30am I hear something on the monitor.
"Lets sing and play games" "Hug Me" "Bye Bye"
It was the the Fisher Price Learning Puppy...
So I listen for a second to see why and how this was happening and if it was going to stop. It didnt stop until I got to the nursery door. Ok...... I went back to bed and the second I was under the covers, it started again.
This time Andrew started stirring so I got up again and went to the nursery door. I didn't remember if it was in the closet or the toy chest so I paused to listen for it again.
In the dark I hear "I see you" 
It took all my strength not to scream! It never said that before!!!
I took it out of the toy chest and ran into my room and closed the door and took the batteries out.
I didn't want it facing me while I slept so I put it on its back on the dresser. Then after I got into bed I looked over at it again and it rolled onto its side! 
I picked it up and locked it in the desk drawer in the computer room and I will NOT open the drawer this morning!
PS - DH works nights so I am home alone!

That dog is EVIL!!!! 
Luckily, the batteries died in ours, and DC haven't noticed. They have enough other things to keep them occupied.

The same thing happens to us also! That dog drives us nuts too! I'm convinced ours in possessed!

 Holy Cow... i would have grabbed my dd and locked the bedroom door and left the puppy .. My dd has that puppy, no clue were it is right now, but i hope it doesnt start that.. Ill toss it out the window, that stuff scares the jeebers out of me.

That is one annoying toy!!! John got 2 when he was younger and of course he loved them, but they both mysteriously disappeared.

I would have screamed, grabbed my baby and ran from the house! I saw this horrible movie called Magic when I was a kid about a ventriloquist doll and I can't stand dolls that talk now.
Thank God I don't own that doll! You are one brave lady! I think I am the only one who didn't laugh at your story!

OMG That puppy freaked me out one night also...I left in the crib and when my son kicked it at night it started going off...I love it though!

I had a freak out like that too... I was pumping in the middle of the night and the dog goes: "wanna be my friend?" or something like that!!! I almost jumped out of my skin! I was conviced that ghosts were talking through it

we have this too and he is annoying to me!! soon as i pass the thing i feel like it just talks to you...
she used to love it... not so much anymore and soon...i will be removing the batteries.
