School shoes for 5 year old girls
DD already knows she wants light up sneakers but I would also like to get her shoes that are not too dressy but formal / casual. What does your 5- 6 year old DD wear to school? I was thinking leather mary janes with a a sturdy sole.

Sneakers for gym days.
In the winter- boots- she has a bunch of pairs from fake uggs to riding boots, etc
In spring and fall on non gym days she wears flats, or these mary jane skeechers

At 5 I was still buying Mary Jane's, etc, from Stride Rite online at Zappos.

School shoes for 5 year old girls
I like the Mary Jane style sneakers from Carter's and osh kosh. They look cute with dresses but are still good for running around and climbing on the playground.
