Sea world & Universal question

How many days do you need at these parks?

Can you see them in 1 day each? (Almost 5yo & 2yo.)

If you want to only do the kid things at Universal and not ride anything yourselves, 1 day. If you want to do a lot of grownup things and swap out the kids, 2 days.

SeaWorld you can do in 1 day if you don't mind giving up a couple of shows since it's virtually impossible to crisscross the park, get to the show, wait in line, get a seat, see the show, then do it all over again for every show. You can hit my two favorites (Shamu and sea lion/otter), do some exhibits and play in the kiddie area in a day. If you want to do more, 2 days.

Yes, I can do this for you too Chat Icon

Re: Sea world & Universal question

I would skip Universal with young kids. I won't go until my youngest is at least 8. I personally don't feel there's enough for them to do to warrant the price. I do however love Seaworld and so do my kids.

Sea world & Universal question

I did Seaworld in 1 day last year without shows. I took the bus back and forth from Disney, so I had to make sure I was back for the Disney transportation since we didn't have a car.

Re: Sea world & Universal question

I just came back from a Disney and Universal trip. It's a LOT for one trip and expensive to switch resorts (in terms of tickets, transport, etc, much more so than adding days at one place).

I think the biggest difference between Disney and Universal is that Universal has kiddie stuff (Seuessland, etc) and adult stuff (coasters, the mummy, WWoHP), and not as much that the whole family can experience and enjoy together. Disney has a lot more stuff IMO that littles can ride and adults will still enjoy, whereas Universal has a lot of either/or.

You can FM or email me if you want more details about my trip, though I'll probably do some kind of trip report, especially since I got to see the new fantasyland!
