A friend of mine got incredibly ill from some stuff he bought from that guy. Not sure how his track record is on the whole though.

My cousin is a fireman and they always buy their food from that guy. They say it's great. Who knows.

Re: seafood on 110...on the side of the road
My parents have bought from them. The lobster tails that they sell for 15 for 20 are so small. That sign if very misleading. But I remember things being okay there.

I have always wondered about that - are they legal?? Anyway I would be nervous to buy seafood from the side of the road. But it does always look tempting!

It is not different than you would buy at the supermarket. The shrimps are previously frozen, as is everything else. I would never buy fish on the side of the road, out of a van. LOL

Me neither.
He must be doing well if he gets repeat business but I just couldn't do it - unless the side of the road was at Gosman's.

Re: seafood on 110...on the side of the road
That guy does incredible business. And, the expensive cars lined up to buy seafood out of a van and styrofoam containers always cracks me up.
I think it's like 15 tails for $20. I don't eat seafood, so I've never tried. But, if I had a seafood store, I'd be a little angry about having to pay for overhead (like a ceiling?) and not the open expanse of Route 110.
I will say this, it looks like he and the fence company over there have no relationship, as he doesn't seem to set foot on their property.

Re: seafood on 110...on the side of the road
We haven't had a problem either, but, I wouldn't buy again, only because the tails are SOOO small. For example, smaller than the palm of your hand.
